Godfather of the Portuguese house and electronic music scene, Rui Da Silva has received worldwide success with tracks like So Get Up and Touch Me. After moving to London to further his music career, he set up his own Kismet Records and started releasing music under his own name.

Portuguese DJ and producer Rui Da Silva exploded onto the dance music scene in 2001 with his number one house hit Touch Me.

Rui Da Silva may be a common name on summer line-ups in Ibiza but the house DJ spent his formative years performing with one turntable at parties in Portugal, where he helped kick-start the country’s dance music scene.

For our series of summer sessions, Rui is putting together this selection of classic house inspired by holidays in the Portuguese sun.
